bb-strandhuset.dk does not have a menu, I follow the motto “chef's choice”. Whether that choice includes “gourmet” is up to the individual. I prepare the purchased evening menu to the best of my ability from local and fresh ingredients. The meal time is up to the individual from day to day, and if you have special wishes, you as a guest will be given the opportunity to make requests for favorite menus to a reasonable extent.
A bite of the real good
Strandhuset B&B does not have Michelin stars, but the host has been running Dageløkke Kro with reasonable success for over 30 years, and has, during his long career as a chef, collected many “star ratings” from guests who have claimed that the food was not that bad. Langeland has several good restaurants with opening hours most of the year, but during the winter months several are put on standby. Strandhuset offers an evening menu of a regular popular standard all year round. 2-3 dishes prepared honestly from fresh, good ingredients

At Strandhuset I take pride in giving everyone help, for example, to find Langeland's exciting and somewhat secret places. Whether you are on a cycling holiday or want to hike "The Langeland Camino" (15 bulls, 15 mills and 15 parishes), I am happy to find good suggestions. From the breakfast buffet, everyone is allowed to make a packed lunch from the leftovers, and if time permits, I am happy to show you around to good places on the island, all of course spiced up with exciting local stories. The nature on Langeland is very special in many places. Here we can mention Bondegårdsskov, Stigtehave, over 250 "mountains" and countless "breast-shaped hills" popularly called hat hills and remember, Langeland is also beautiful in winter - some even think it is more beautiful.
